At 9:15 pm, I sit at my office desk typing this blog. Ofcourse, my strained neck and the stinking socks from all the sweat accumulated over a period of 13 hrs are my dearest companions.
Today, I have every reason to be depressed. Shouldnt I just push aside this feeling with a thulp of Glenfiddich ? But thats easy, isnt it. I wouldnt opt for it. Atleast for today. If it was about the easy things in life, I wouldnt be sitting at a desk thousands of miles away from my home country. I have never cherished nor valued the things I got easy. This attitude made me lose some and gain somethings in life.
Not that I regret the decisions I made. Isnt it a bit odd that we often repent the choices we make? Ideally, one shouldnt. 'cos for the kind of mind set one has in that particular situation and the circumstances, one always make the right decision, only to realise later that 'right' was time bound.
Moral of the story.
There wasnt any moral. There wasnt any story in the first place.!
